For those of you who don't want to read the whole article--do anyway--it's important and good! But Dr Weill said in no uncertain terms that if we do not change the CONTENT of Health Care, we are headed for disaster. He again talked truth and said that "Physicians have no training in the low-tech, low-cost ALTERNATIVES to what we've been doing that has not worked."
As a union member--he held off on saying how many WELL-trained ALTERNATIVE Doctors and many other Alternative Health Pro's we have operating in the USA already! Pro's who have kept or returned many of us back to GOOD HEALTH and WELLNESS!
I have no affiliations with the AMA--beyond reading their news aloud to my Daddy the Doctor from a tender age, and my continuing to follow how the AMA and their co-conspirators, funders/suppliers Big Pharma have thought to grow rich off of creating a chronically diseased America.
It is more than time to end their monopoly over our Health and Wellness. Neither our government nor We-the-People can afford it any more!

I applaud Dr. Andrew Weil, M.D. for speaking out against the so called "Health Reform". I would like to also recognize a few other M.D.'s who are in the forefront of educating the public on true health: Mathias Rath, M.D., Julian Whitaker, M.D., Jonathan Wright, M.D., Lorraine Day, M.D., William Campbell Douglas, M.D., David Brownstein, M.D., Russell Blaylock, M.D., Don Colbert, M.D., Ronald Lawrence, M.D., Ph.D., the late Robert Willner, M.D., Ph.D., Joseph Mercola, D.O., Terry Friedmann, M.D., and other leading doctors and scientists who seek truth and pass their knowlege onto their patients and the public. Physicians are under the gun, the AMA gun that is, to fall in line and continue the status quo of treating symptoms with drugs until it becomes necessary to cut out organs and body parts which have been damaged by prolonged drug taking. It takes courage to speak out on behalf of sane health measures. I appreciate the efforts and work of all these people who are making waves, and educating us to a better way of living, where we don't have to be so dependant on pharmaceuticals and surgeries.
ReplyDeleteExposing the truth of the pharmaceutical industry and bad medicine in general, can only lead to real health care reform which benefits the people, instead of Big Pharma, Big Food, Big Agriculture, and Big Media. This "Big Four", has made a collective effort to keep us misinformed, and ignorant of basic health measures, in order to maintain us as their herd of cash cows. They realize that more of us are rejecting this "disease management" system. This threatens their collective profits, hence it cannot be allowed, thus the push for mandated vaccinations, and a myriad other unconstitutional mandates being forced on us courtesy of our tax dollars.
For example, one place that needs dramatic change is in the area of women's health. Women should be given real choices, and real alternatives to the draconian radical mastectomies, and hysterectomies, and pelvic exonerations, cancer causing mammograms, and other invasive precedures that injure and maim them.
A client of mine just died two weeks ago of what was originally diagnosed as uterine cancer. She was only 35, and had a 4 year old son. She expressed her wish to me that she hoped she would be alive to see her son's fifth birthday in December. She came up four months short. Her death came after having all her female organs, her bladder, her rectum and sigmoid colon removed, while also receiving chemotherapy. She was in constant moderate to severe pain, until she was moved to Hospice House.
This tragic scenario continues to be repeated all over the U.S., to the tune of millions of dollars in treatments, and thousands of lives being sacrificed to this "holy grail" of western medicine. Our bought and paid for politicians in Washington meanwhile, continue to pass more laws that favor this criminal system in order to keep Big Pharma's corporate profits rolling in.
Al Capone, and Baby Face Nelson, Machine Gun Kelly, Ma Barker, John Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd, Bonnie and Clyde, and Jack the Ripper to name a few, had nothing over Big Pharma when it comes to robbery, and killing. According to one of their own journals, JAMA, the third leading cause of death in this country is primarily due to the cumulative toxic buildup of pharmaceutical drugs. Conservatively speaking, over 100,000 people die every year because of iatrogenic causes. At the same time, the U.S. "health care" system is the most expensive in the world, surpassing the expenditures of all other nations in the world combined. Could one aspect of this out of control health care expense be related to the ridiculous high price of Big Pharma's toxic prescription drugs?
We need change in health care, but its nothing like the kind of change these corporate and government thugs would like to "give" us.
